Teaching Assistant – Level 2  - St Giles Academy

What does a  Teaching Assistant – Level 2 do?

In a nutshell:

As a Teaching Assistant Level 2 you will play a crucial role in supporting teaching and learning.  You will work closely with teachers and pupils, helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.  1:1 work may be required at times. You will complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities.  This may involve planning, preparing and delivering learning activities for the pupils and monitoring, assessing, recording and reporting on children’s progress and development.

Our children are amazing and we intend to help them to continue to be amazing, regardless of what life throws at them.  This is a key role in enabling that to happen.
