About this Role

We welcome applications from candidates with experience of Early Years, KS1 and KS2. The role would be based in our Nursery setting.

This vacancy will suit candidates who are enthusiastic, highly motivated, and have the best outcomes for children at heart. Knowledge and/or experience of pupils with SEN is preferable but not required.

The Role:

Working closely with the class teacher, you will support both individuals and small groups to access the curriculum. Your core duties will include:

  • Planning, delivering, and evaluating targeted learning activities.

  • Monitoring pupil progress, assessing achievements, and maintaining accurate records.

  • Managing classroom behaviour and promoting independent learning.

  • Providing short-term cover for absent teachers when required.

  • Fostering a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment.

  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as a team with staff, parents and outside agencies.
