We are looking for a Receptionist

Key responsibilities:

  • Delivering an effective reception service including answering routine telephone and face to face enquiries; signing in visitors and sorting and distributing internal and external mail
  • Communication to parents via the text message and email service as and when required
  • Responsible for the Health and Safety, security and welfare of self and colleagues in accordance with E-ACT’s policies and procedures, reporting all concerns to an appropriate person.
  • Helping and assisting any children that come to the office.
  • Providing general clerical support e.g. photocopying, filing, emailing, completing routine forms and responding to routine correspondence

Pay range: NJC SCP 5 £24,231.80 + Fringe Allowance of £947.18 (Based on 37 hours a week / 42 weeks per year)

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience of using the Microsoft Office suite to intermediate level or above
  • Knowledge of Safeguarding requirements
  • Good qualifications in both English and Math
  • Knowledge of GDPR requirements
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and sensitivity around information
