Are you a dynamic and imaginative Music Teacher ready to ignite a love of music in the next generation? At Bourne End Academy, We are searching for an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Music to join our thriving Performing Arts department — a place where creativity flourishes, collaboration is celebrated, and every student is encouraged to find their unique voice.

We are looking for a Teacher of Music.

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lessons that inspire students across all key stages, fostering creativity and musical excellence.
  • Plan and implement a diverse curriculum covering performance, composition, and music theory, tailored to different abilities.
  • Lead and support extracurricular activities such as choirs, ensembles, and school productions, enriching the wider school community.
  • Assess and monitor student progress through regular feedback, ensuring every learner achieves their potential.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the Performing Arts department to create projects and contribute to whole-school events.

Pay range: M1 - M6 (Fringe) £34,398 - £46,839

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Degree in relevant subject
  • Proven experience in delivering outstanding teaching & learning
  • Commitment to the academy's values and ethos
