We are looking for a Deputy Head Teacher

Key responsibilities:

• Support the Headteacher in delivering the school’s vision, values, and strategic priorities. • Contribute to the development and implementation of the School Improvement Plan. • Lead on specific whole-school initiatives • Drive high standards of teaching and learning across the school. • Monitor and evaluate classroom practice, providing coaching and professional development. • Promote a positive, inclusive culture that supports pupil wellbeing and achievement. • Line-manage middle leaders and other staff, conducting performance reviews and supporting career development. • Build strong relationships with parents, ambassadors, and the wider community. • Promote the school’s reputation and achievements.


Pay range: Leadership Pay Scale -Fringe L18 up to L22 £80134 - £88237


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – recognised teaching certification.
  • Proven leadership experience – ideally as an Assistant Head, Phase Leader, or equivalent.
  • Strong academic background – degree-level education with evidence of continuous professional development.
  • Safeguarding and child protection training – up-to-date knowledge of statutory requirements.
