Saxmundham
Primary is a thriving 315 place primary school with a Nursery for children from
three years old. The school has a strong community ethos and we are
committed to meeting the needs of our children and families through a broad
curriculum and pastoral offer. Our enthusiastic pupils behave well and
have a real enthusiasm for learning and all aspects of school life. Supported
by a dedicated teaching team, very supportive parents, local advisors and
trustees, we offer a well-equipped working environment and opportunities for
fully supported career professional development within the school and our
Trust.
From September 2026 we are looking to recruit an
experienced and dedicated Class Teacher to join our dedicated team at
Saxmundham Primary School. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real
difference in the lives of our young learners.

School, Bungay High School, Castle East School, Holbrook High School, EAST
SCITT and five other primary schools Kyson, Wickham Market, Easton, Aldeburgh
and Leiston with whom we work closely with.

We are a Teaching School Hub partner, which allows us to improve
teaching and learning on a continuous basis. We are committed to providing
excellent staff opportunities through developing and promoting our staff and
offering an excellent CPD and support programme for new staff. We are also
extremely pleased to have launched our own teacher training provider: EAST
SCITT. This allows us to award QTS and also QTS + PGCE Programmes within both
Primary and Secondary schools.
