Learning Mentor 

Salary: FTE £26,824.00- £27,254.00

Grade G points 8-9

Monday to Friday, Term Time + 5 Training days. 

Permanent role.


Ruskin Academy is looking to recruit an energetic and highly motivated Learning Mentor to provide support in matters of educational engagement and emotional aspects of learning.

Duties will include providing support and guidance to children and those engaged with them, by removing barriers to learning in order to promote effective participation, enhance individual learning, raise aspirations and achieve their potential.  


We require the following attributes:

  • Have a good level of education.

  • Be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with pupils and parents / carers.

  • Have the ability to intervene with behaviour issues.

  • Promote the school in a positive manner at all times and share in the corporate responsibility for the well-being and safeguarding of all pupils.
