Westcountry School’s Trust are looking to appoint
a Finance Officer to work for the Cornwall Cluster of Schools, based at
Camelford. The role is full time and permanent to commence as soon as possible.
The Finance Officer is required to play a key role in supporting the financial and business affairs of the Cornwall Cluster and to ensure the Trust complies with financial regulations. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail and previous financial experience. Working knowledge of financial software is an advantage together with experience in the use of Excel. A relevant financial qualification would be desirable.
Under direction of the School Business Accountant, the successful applicant will be responsible for undertaking a range of financial procedures for the Cornwall Cluster including standard monthly routines. The role will involve preparing monthly management accounts and providing reports to budget holders.
