We are seeking a dynamic, supportive, and inspiring teacher
who has experience in curriculum planning and delivery of Design Technology
and/or Food Technology across Key Stages 3 – 4 (Key Stage 5 is desirable but
not necessary). Both Design Technology and Food have seen rapid increase in uptake
over the past two years with significantly improved outcomes for both areas. This post has been created to support the
introduction of ‘Construction’ provision for September 2026 which has already
had an uptake of over 10% of the year group (PAN of 300). We are therefore
seeking and an incredible teacher who is passionate about Design Technology and
able to inspire and motivate students to learn. If this sounds like you, we
want to hear from you. Your passion for Design Technology is demonstrated in
your daily work and you are willing to contribute to wider curriculum
opportunity for students to further engage and support them in the subject.

cohesive team of colleagues, with good links across other schools as part of
the Mercian Academy Trust, with excellent opportunities for development.
