Ernulf Academy is seeking an Assistant Principal – Director of Mathematics to lead our Mathematics Department and contribute to our senior leadership team.

As the Assistant Principal – Director of Mathematics, you will lead the Mathematics Department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning. You will play a visible role in school improvement, working alongside our senior leadership team to drive academic outcomes and foster a scholarly culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage members of the subject team in a manner that promotes students’ learning.
  • Be accountable for the planning of appropriate curriculum materials and resourcing to support excellent progression for all students.
  • Provide leadership to the maths teams and the wider school.
  • Participate in the review of achievement across the school and formulate action plans to address areas of concern.

Accountable for:

  • High-quality leadership of projects and delivering on agreed targets.
  • Securing exceptional scholar outcomes across the school.
  • Providing high-quality support in the specified subject area, and liaising with other senior leaders and Heads of Department to develop curriculum plans, resources, and policies.
