Vacancy Details 

The Role: Family Support Worker

Contract: Permanent. 

Hours: 15 hours a week over 2 days, ideally Monday and Tuesdays, however could be flexible with this. Working weeks: 39

Salary: M Grade

The Manor is a Church of England Primary School based in the heart of Melksham in Wiltshire. We are an inclusive school dedicated to providing an excellent education to our pupils, where we ensure all our pupils are supported and challenged within a caring environment. We couldn’t do what we do without our fantastic staff team, and we are looking for a nurturing, positive and driven Family Support Worker to join our hard-working team, working in partnership with parents, carers, pupils and external agencies to ensure all of our pupils have the opportunity to participate fully in school life. All About You 

Do you have what it takes to join us? The Family Support Worker we would like to join us will be: 

·       Qualified to NVQ Level 3 (or have similar experience) in a relevant discipline such as childcare, social work, family work etc. 

·       Experience and success of working with parents, carers, pupils and outside agencies. 

·       Able to deal confidentially and confidently with difficult situations and sensitive issues. 

·       Flexible and committed to working with our most vulnerable children and their families.
