Do you have a passion for mathematics and a talent
for inspiring young minds? We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated
part-time Teacher of Maths to join our dynamic, high performing Mathematics
Department.
In this rewarding role, you will deliver
engaging and stimulating lessons that promote problem-solving, logical
thinking, and a genuine appreciation of mathematics. From developing numerical
fluency to exploring complex mathematical concepts, you’ll help students become
confident, independent learners who can apply their skills in a range of
contexts.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality, engaging maths lessons to students of all abilities on
a part-time, job share basis.
• Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum and
departmental schemes of work.
• Foster a positive attitude towards mathematics and encourage curiosity and
resilience.
• Support students in developing analytical thinking, problem-solving, and
reasoning skills.
• Use a range of assessment strategies to monitor progress and provide targeted
feedback.
• Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities within the
department.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and support
student achievement.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
