About this Role

Full time, Permanent.

Whilst this position is advertised as full time, we welcome applications from candidates seeking part-time working arrangements from 0.6 FTE (three days per week) upwards. Due to the needs of the provision, working days must include Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.

Make a Difference Through Alternative Education

We are seeking an inspiring and adaptable teacher to join ELECT, our thriving on-site alternative provision. Working with students from Temple Moor High School and partner schools across East Leeds, you will play a vital role in supporting learners to re-engage with education, build confidence and develop the skills they need to succeed both in school and beyond.

This is a rewarding opportunity to deliver a flexible and engaging curriculum that combines academic, vocational and life skills learning within a supportive and nurturing environment. Initially, the role will focus on delivering the BTEC Work Skills programme, although there may be scope to shape and develop the curriculum in line with your skills, experience and interests.

If you are a committed teacher with the ability to build positive relationships, inspire learners and make a lasting impact on the lives of young people, we would love to hear from you.
