Discover Mathematics at Temple Moor High School and Sixth Form HERE

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Mathematics Teacher who is excited about inspiring students, nurturing curiosity and making mathematics meaningful, engaging and accessible for all. At our school, we are passionate about delivering an ambitious, knowledge-rich mathematics curriculum that enables all students to reason, think critically and become confident problem-solvers. Our maths curriculum is carefully sequenced to ensure mastery, enjoyment and success, equipping students with the skills they need to thrive as numerate adults and lifelong learners. If you believe in the transformative power of maths and want to make a lasting impact on young people’s futures, we would love to hear from you.

At Temple Moor, we are extremely proud of the sustained improvement in Mathematics outcomes. Since 2017, results have shown a strong upward trend, with attainment at 8.71, broadly in line with the national average despite lower prior attainment on entry. In 2024, Maths Progress 8 reached +0.13, the highest ever achieved, placing the department in the top 38% of schools nationally for progress. Success continued in 2025, with 68% of students achieving Grade 4+ and 49% achieving Grade 5+, reflecting the strength, ambition and impact of our Mathematics department.

This success sits within a school and department characterised by high attainment and achievement, underpinned by strong student behaviour and positive attitudes to learning, and validated as Good by OFSTED in 2023.
