PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
As a classroom volunteer, you may support
teaching and learning in a variety of ways, including:
* Listening to children read to
support language development.
* Sharing your professional expertise
to enhance curriculum topics.
* Supporting school trips by helping
meet required adult-to-child ratios.
* Assisting with classroom routines,
preparation of resources, displays, and small-group support.

should demonstrate:
* Understanding of safeguarding.
* Enthusiasm and reliability.
* Friendliness and strong
interpersonal skills.
* Passion for education or
supporting others.
Volunteers will also be expected to adhere to
all Trust policies, including the Staff Code of Conduct.

qualifications, and previous voluntary work.
* Understanding of the role.
* Safeguarding considerations.
* Relevant convictions, if
applicable.
* References and your availability.
A DBS check is required before starting.
Training, including safeguarding and an induction, will be provided.
