About this Role

MFL Teacher - Spanish or Spanish and French to GCSE
.6fte permanent contract
To start September 2025

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated MFL Teacher to join our highly successful Languages department and to teach Spanish or Spanish and French to GCSE across Key Stages 3 and 4. This position is suitable for a Newly Qualified Teacher or a more experienced colleague wishing to broaden their experience.

The Languages department is very successful, experienced, supportive and vibrant. All subjects are highly popular options for GCSE, with almost 80% of students choosing a language in a free option system. Outcomes are exceptionally strong. The area is led by a talented and dedicated Head of Department, and staff generally teach in their own rooms. We currently deliver French, German and Spanish, following the Edexcel specification. We are part of the Synergy Multi-Academy Trust and therefore have strong links with the Languages departments at Reepham High School and College, Sheringham High School and Stalham High School.

You will receive high quality support and CPD, and will be encouraged to develop enquiry and research to improve your pedagogy further. If you would like to be part of our future, working with an employer who will listen to you, challenge and support your decision making, as well as provide you with a wealth of resources to fulfil this fantastic opportunity, your application will be welcomed.
