One-Year Secondment Opportunity: Part‑Time SENCO & Class Teacher
This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring SENCO to join the Whitkirk team for one year in the first instance, on a secondment basis. The successful candidate will lead SEND across the school, working closely alongside our Acting Deputy Headteacher, who leads Inclusion, as part of a strong and supportive leadership team.
Alongside the SENCO role, the post-holder will have a part-time classroom responsibility, working in either EYFS or Lower KS2, depending on the experience and strengths of the successful candidate. The role is structured as a 50/50 split between both responsibilities.
This role provides an excellent professional development pathway for those wishing to develop their expertise and leadership within SEND and inclusion.
