About this Role

Term-Time + Training Days. Part -Time 27.5 hours per week Teaching Assistant and 3.75hours per week MSA. Fixed Term until August 2026 due to funding. 2069

Are you patient, compassionate and committed to helping every child thrive? We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our highly respected SEND provision—a team known across our school and Trust for its expertise, warmth and unwavering child‑centred approach. This role also includes 3.75 hours of Midday Supervisor duties offering the opportunity to support children throughout their school day.

At our school, Teaching Assistants are so much more than classroom support. They are trusted adults, champions for children with complex needs and an essential part of helping pupils feel safe, confident and ready to learn. You will join a strong, collaborative team made up of both experienced practitioners and newer colleagues who bring fresh ideas and enthusiasm. Mentoring, peer support and shared problem‑solving are built into our culture ensuring you are never left to navigate challenges alone.

Our SEND provision is continuously evolving with a specialist sensory and play‑based learning room that has already made a transformational impact on wellbeing and engagement. The team regularly leads enrichment activities tailored to pupils’ needs from sensory exploration and outdoor learning to cooking, life‑skills sessions and supported participation in whole‑school events.

We celebrate every achievement—big or small. Our team takes pride in helping children grow in confidence, develop new skills and engage more fully in their learning. Whether it’s supporting a pupil to communicate more effectively, helping a child settle into routines or seeing a learner participate in an activity they once found challenging, these moments are recognised and valued across the school. Successes like these highlight the impact of our supportive, relationship‑based approach and are key to what makes our SEND provision so special.

Whether you already have SEND experience or are just beginning your journey we will support you to grow. You will have access to high‑quality CPD, opportunities to work alongside external specialists and potential pathways into Higher‑Level Teaching Assistant roles or wider opportunities across the Trust.

If you are motivated, nurturing and excited about making a genuine difference we would love to welcome you to our team.
