About this Role

Need a change? Are you a little tired of managing behaviour and want to teach in a place where children love to learn? Where most of your planning is in place ready for your adaptations? Where there is strong support from your team and where the grounds are like a countryside walk? Loose Primary really does deliver this and we are looking for someone to join us. We have an incredible team here and some of the most delightful children you will ever work with who model our strong values of compassion, trust, respect, pride and determination. We believe potential is limitless and this includes you.

We are looking for someone who loves the children and puts them at the heart of every day. Someone who understands teaching and assessment and someone who can bring learning to life. With children who have a thirst for learning, you really will be challenged to get the very best from them and rightly so. If you can picture yourself leading an exhibition of children's learning in a museum, running projects in the community with the children or engaging with professionals to support children's learning, we really do want you here to join us on our journey to excellence.

A knowledge of SoundsWrite would be advantageous but most importantly - someone who loves to teach children.

Candidates must have Qualified Teacher Status. The post is open to ECTs.

There is availability for permanent / fixed term posts and this can be discussed more fully at the point of interview.  Start date will be September 2026.

Benefits of joining Coppice Primary Partnership:

  • Children who are articulate, great fun, willing and eager to learn
  • Annual flu jab offered to all staff
  • A family first approach – cover to ensure that you don’t miss important family events
  • Free access to wraparound care for primary aged children attending trust schools, including access to the holiday play scheme when staff are working.
  • The holiday play scheme is also open and free to staff who have children who attend other schools when staff are required to work.
  • All staff have access to Kent Rewards, a site offering cash back and discounts for a range of popular high street stores
  • Throughout the year, school and trust wide social events will be available. These will all be optional, but we believe in developing relationships and social events can certainly help! Events will be informal affairs, usually in informal settings and open to all staff
  • A large, modern and well-resourced primary school, set in excellent school grounds, where opportunities for high quality outdoor learning are facilitated
  • An opportunity to share a real, relevant and engaging curriculum.

We are excited to offer you the opportunity to join our team and hope you will want to explore this role further. Visits to the school are warmly welcomed; please contact the school office to arrange a suitable time.

This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of all children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All appointments are subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.

Please note, we review applications on a rolling-basis and the advert may close early if a suitable candidate is appointed.
