About this Role

Class Teacher – KS1 or KS2

Part‑time or Full‑time • Fixed Term until 31 August 2027

The Coppice Primary Partnership are looking for keen, enthusiastic and passionate people to join our team. We are a small, primary‑focused Multi Academy Trust in West Kent, committed to achieving the very best outcomes for the children in our schools.

We are delighted to be able to extend our teaching team and are seeking a KS1 or KS2 teacher who shares our values and our belief in providing a high‑quality, engaging and inclusive education for every child. This role is available on a full‑time or part‑time basis and is a fixed‑term contract until 31 August 2027.

As an excellent practitioner, you must:

  • Be an excellent teacher — at whatever stage in your career — with secure subject knowledge.
  • Have high expectations of both yourself and your pupils.
  • Be passionate about meeting the needs of all children.
  • Have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Value working collaboratively in teams and partnerships.
  • Be skilled at fostering independence and encouraging pupil‑led learning.
  • Be reflective, resilient and ambitious, with a desire to grow professionally.
  • Engage fully with all aspects of school life, including parents and the wider community.
  • Be committed to ongoing professional development.

We offer:

  • Children who are articulate, engaged, great fun and eager to learn.
  • A positive, creative and friendly staff team.
  • A supportive environment with strong professional development opportunities.
  • The chance to collaborate with colleagues, year group partners and wider professional networks.
  • A well‑resourced primary school set in excellent grounds, enabling high‑quality outdoor learning.
  • An opportunity to contribute to a real, relevant and engaging curriculum.

We are excited to offer you the opportunity to join our team and hope you will want to explore this role further. Visits to the school are warmly welcomed; please contact the school office to arrange a suitable time.

This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of all children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All appointments are subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.

Please note, we review applications on a rolling-basis and the advert may close early if a suitable candidate is appointed.
