About this Role

This role supports the smooth running of the school day by supervising students during break and lunchtime and providing additional administrative support. The postholder will play a key role in maintaining a safe, calm and orderly environment, ensuring student welfare is prioritised at all times while supporting wider school operations.                                                                                                                                                                         Key Responsibilities

·        -Supervise students during break and lunchtime, ensuring welfare, safety and appropriate behaviour standards are maintained.

·        -Monitor and manage behaviour in line with school policies, promoting a calm and positive environment.

·        -Ensure students are engaged in suitable activities and respond proactively to any concerns.

·        -Record and report accidents in line with school procedures and provide first aid where required (training provided).

·        -Support student wellbeing and escalate concerns appropriately.

·        -Assist with supervision in communal areas to maintain a safe and orderly environment.

·        -Provide effective administrative support, including maintaining records, filing systems and school displays

·        -Work collaboratively across teams and contribute to wider school activities and events.

·        -Works with sensitivity, confidentiality and professionalism when supporting students and colleagues.

·        -Is willing to undertake first aid training

·        -A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
