About this Role

We are looking to appoint a class teacher from September 2026. This will  be in Key Stage  1 and can be full time or part time (working 3 days a week).  Edenbridge Primary School is a fantastic school to start your teaching career, or to further develop it and move into middle leadership roles within the school or wider academy trust.  We welcome applications from experienced teachers.  For experienced teachers, we offer subject specific training, access to NPQs and professional coaching to support wellbeing and workload.
Please note that, although this is a role listed to start in the new academic year, our INSET days are on 27th and 28th August and the successful candidate will be required to attend.
Please make your application form clearly state if you are seeking a part time (3 days a week) or full time working pattern.

Set in the heart of Edenbridge town centre near Sevenoaks, Edenbridge Primary School is a two-form entry school, serving our busy community.  We have high expectations for all our children at Edenbridge Primary School. We want them to be happy and successful, and we are committed to giving every individual child a chance to develop their talents, whatever they may be. We believe that children should be given the chance to succeed in a secure and reassuring environment. Our aim is to help children become self-confident and independent individuals who respect themselves, others and the world in which they live.

Our school site has three playgrounds, a playing field, an ICT suite, a library and two halls to ensure that we are able to provide a great learning environment for our pupils.  In 2018, we were really excited to open a purpose-built EYFS block which will ensure we are able to give our youngest pupils a first class start to their primary schooling.  If you would like to know more about the school, please contact the school office on 01732 863787 and arrange a visit. For candidates who wish to apply without a tour, for ease and speed, we may be able to offer tours for shortlisted candidates on the interview date.
