Learning Mentor

The Prince Albert Community Trust (PACT) wish to appoint a Learning Mentor to join our extensive Pastoral team based at Birchfield Primary School. As a mentor, you will play a crucial role in supporting our pupils' welfare and academic progress. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide mentoring to pupils, focusing on their personal and academic development.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Develop and implement strategies to help pupils overcome barriers to learning.
  • Be responsible for supporting with whole school behaviour, attendance and safeguarding
  • Monitor and report on pupils' progress, ensuring they receive the necessary support.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in mentoring and supporting pupils.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
  • Passion for education and a commitment to making a difference.
