We are looking to recruit an upbeat, energetic experienced and inspiring Teacher with some added sparkle and Va Va Voom to join our academy to assist in leading the primary site in Barrow Hill, Chesterfield. Is this you?

Would you like more creative freedom to teach?

Can you inspire your colleagues with your exciting, upbeat and fun classroom?

If so, you are the one we are looking for!

The staffing team is small and the post will suit an experienced exemplary professional who would like to develop their leadership. Candidates must be willing to be flexible to meet the needs of the pupils and the academy and be passionate about inclusion. Most importantly you must be able to plan and teach high quality, engaging and fun lessons to disengaged pupils with SEND. We welcome applications from candidates who are able to model high standards of curriculum delivery to excluded pupils and can be a consistent exemplary role model to all other staff. Candidates must be able to work in a fast paced environment as this will be a physically and mentally demanding role, be a team player and uphold and drive our positive academy ethos and unconditional positive regard.

Applicants should have good knowledge and experience of working with a primary curriculum and SEND pupils in a school or other alternative setting. An affinity for pupils with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties is an essential quality for this challenging but rewarding opportunity. Applicants should be resilient, have high expectations, and a sense of humour. You must be able to build positive relationships with our pupils and think outside of the box. A strong character, growth mindset and positive ethos are essential characteristics that we are looking for.

An allocated base will be named for payment of mileage and any relevant travel for the academy. Candidates must have access to a car with business use included on their insurance. We are multi sited and you may be expected to travel for Inset training or to contribute to Trust groups.
