Support Actual Salary £21,510 - £23,078
Contract: 32.5 hours per week, 41 weeks per year (Term Time Only + 2)
Peak School, part of the Esteem Multi-Academy Trust, is a
Nursery to Post-16 special school academy located in the village of Chinley, in
the north-west corner of Derbyshire. We support children and young people with
a wide range of special educational needs, including pupils with significant
learning, communication and interaction difficulties.
Peak School is looking to appoint an Intervention Assistant
(Level 7). The successful candidate will be a patient, enthusiastic and
supportive individual who is passionate about helping pupils to achieve their
full potential. They will work closely with teaching staff to support pupils
both in and out of the classroom and contribute to a positive, nurturing
learning environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience of supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs, including physical disabilities, communication difficulties, learning difficulties and behaviours that may challenge. The successful candidate will share our strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
