About this Role

We have a vacancy for an Apprentice Teaching Assistant. 

30 hours per week, working term time only.

Cullingworth Village Primary School is an academy with the Bradford Diocesan Academies Trust. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Apprentice Teaching Assistant to work as part of our team.  This is a great opportunity to start a career in education.

The successful candidate will receive comprehensive training throughout the apprenticeship and ongoing support from school.

Length of contract: Fixed term for 4 terms from September 2026 until December 2027, depending on start date.

  • Be committed to continuous improvement
  • Be resilient and have a sense of humour
  • Be committed to the safeguarding and well-being of all children in their care.
  • Be capable of working well as part of a team
  • Support the school ICARE values of inclusion, compassion, aspiration, resilience and excellence
  • Assist with the supervision of pupils outside lesson times, eg lunchtime, breaks

The training provider to be confirmed but is likely to be Keighley College.
