We are seeking a SEND Class Teacher, with Qualified Teacher status, to join our dedicated team at our Special school in Loughton, Essex, which was deemed a Good School according to Ofsted in November 2022. You will be responsible for the education and welfare of a designated class of pupils with
significant and complex needs.

We are dedicated to providing a nurturing and aspirational environment for children and young people aged 3-19 with
severe learning needs.

Experience
is preferred but not essential!

We are committed to providing the support and resources necessary to help you thrive in your role.

Key Responsibilities – SEND Teacher

• Support children with SLD and complex needs, providing individualised attention and care.

• Deliver a
bespoke curriculum tailored to the specific needs of our students through our Learning Pathway approach.

• Collaborate with a team of skilled teaching assistants, to ensure each child receives the support they require.

• Assist students with personal care needs, showing a willingness to provide necessary support.

• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, encouraging the social and emotional development of each child.

Visits to the school are strongly encouraged.
