About this Role
To provide high-quality early years education and care for children within the EYFS, supporting their development in line with the EYFS curriculum. You will act as a keyworker for a group of children, fostering strong relationships with families and contributing to a nurturing, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience · Strong understanding of the EYFS framework. · Knowledge of SEND and inclusive practices. · Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. · Working with children within the Early Years (age 0-5) · Experience working with children with SEND · Experience working in a school-based preschool setting (desirable) · Experience planning and assessing children against the EYFS framework.
Qualifications and Training · Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education, or equivalent · Paediatric first aid training (desirable)
Personal Qualities · A passion for working with children · Ability to work under pressure · A desire to promote the school vision and values. · The ability to build positive and respectful relationships across the school community · A desire to serve in the best interests of the school’s pupils · Can ensure the school values of brave, kind and curious are demonstrated through their actions.
