Hours: 25 hours per week, 10am - 3pm, term time only

Are you passionate about food, teamwork, and making a difference in young people’s lives? Astrea Academy Sheffield is looking for a friendly and reliable Catering Assistant to join our vibrant catering team on a fixed term contract 9-12 months for maternity cover.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive school community where your role will help fuel the minds of our students every day.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Assisting in the preparation and serving of nutritious meals to students and staff
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas
  • Supporting the catering team with stock control and kitchen organisation
  • Providing a warm, welcoming service to all students and staff

What We’re Looking For:

  • A positive, can-do attitude and a genuine team player
  • Experience in a catering or kitchen environment (preferred but not essential)
  • A commitment to food hygiene and safety standards
  • Someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, friendly environment
