This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, well-qualified and highly effective pastoral lead/Head of Year to lead on the care, guidance, support and attendance for a designated group of students and make significant contributions to a small, supportive and forward- thinking team.
Sherburn High School is an oversubscribed, truly comprehensive, community school. Our staff are committed to teamwork, both within the school and beyond. Our students are committed to learning as evidenced by their outcomes at the end of Year 11 and Year 13.
We are looking for someone who wants to help build on our successes – someone who isn’t afraid of hard-work because they know of the rewards that working with young people brings.
The school offers all employees training and support, peer mentoring, personal development and the chance to develop skills further through MAT collaboration.
Potential applicants are encouraged to contact/visit the school if further information is required. Please contact Hayley Kibble on 01977 687958 or by email on hayley.kibble@shs.starmat.uk to arrange a time.
