Context
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to support a child in Year 1 with Special Educational Needs. We are looking for a positive, dedicated member of staff who will have high expectations and be committed to raising standards for our children. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, creative and enthusiastic. You will be able to work under pressure and remain calm in all situations. Some experience of working with young children would be beneficial, and evidence of working with children with SEN would be favourable. As a school, we strive to ensure that we are fully inclusive, therefore any additional skills or experience that you can offer would be beneficial.
Working under the guidance of teaching staff and SENCO, support access to learning for a child with SEND, including personal hygiene. This includes support for their individual Education Health Care Plan and helping them to achieve their best possible outcomes.
Vision Our vision is simple – for all our pupils to have high aspirations and to have a wide range of opportunities to develop the knowledge they need to reach their full potential.
