About this Role
This is a fantastic
opportunity for someone who loves supporting young children, working closely
with families, and ensuring every child can access the very best start in life.
Specific Duties:
·
Working alongside the academy
SENCo, coordinate SEND provision across EYFS leading into year 1
·
Support the SENCo by completing
necessary referrals to outside services in EYFS and the wider school
·
Work closely with practitioners to
implement tailored learning plans
·
Monitor children’s progress and
ensure interventions are effective
·
Liaise with parents, carers and
external professionals in EYFS and the wider school
·
Support the EHCP processes and
statutory documentation within EYFS
·
Support staff in best practice,
offering coaching and training where needed
·
Maintain accurate records and
ensure compliance with SEND legislation
·
Promote inclusive practice and
ensure every child has access to meaningful learning opportunities
You will be someone who is:
● Passionate about Early Years
and children’s development
● Experienced in working with
children with SEND
● Confident in liaising with
families and professionals
● Knowledgeable about the SEND
Code of Practice and statutory procedures
● Organised, proactive and able
to manage a varied workload
● A supportive team player with
excellent communication skills
● Compassionate, patient and
committed to inclusion
