About this Role

Shakespeare Primary School are looking for an inspiring, dynamic and hardworking Classroom Teachers, who are highly effective in the planning, teaching and evaluation of learning opportunities. The Classroom Teachers will join a supportive and successful team, committed to excellence, inclusion and high expectations for all. 

The successful Classroom Teachers will have vision, energy and passion to provide a creative and invigorating learning environment for all children. We are looking to appoint outstanding Teachers who prides themselves on delivering exciting learning experiences and has the creativity and determination to drive the school forward.

The ideal candidate will have: 

  • Excellent teaching skills
  • Proven experience of outstanding pupil progress
  • High expectations of both pupil achievement and behaviour
  • The ability to develop positive behaviour strategies with children and be committed to inclusion
  • The ability to provide a stimulating, attractive and safe environment for the children
  • The ability to build and maintain positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and families
  • A positive, reflective attitude and a willingness to be part of a collaborative school culture
  • The ability to deliver a broad and balanced curriculum

Shakespeare Primary School is a rapidly developing two form entry primary school, with our own nursery, that serves the west of Plymouth. With a new yet experienced, innovative and research driven leadership team at the helm, our school staff are raising standards at speed for our school community. Our school is located on extensive grounds with huge potential. Staff work tirelessly to improve the children's outcomes both in school and within the wider community we serve.
