Our Opportunity
Responsibilities:
We are looking to appoint a Higher-Level Teaching
Assistant on a permanent basis, to work 35 hours per week.
This role will work under the direction of the
Headteacher and leadership staff, in assisting with and contributing to the
planning and providing cover when required to support the school.
The
post holder will:

Cover classes during teacher’s PPA and for short
term absence.
·
Deliver interventions and provide in class support.
·
Cover 30-minute lunch duties.
·
Work effectively on your own initiative and as part
of a team.
·
Have excellent behaviour management skills.
·
Have the ability to use a wide range of strategies
to motivate and challenge individuals and groups.
·
Create and implement educational resources and
materials.
·
Have the ability to engage positively with parents
and the community and be able to promote the vision and values of our school
and Trust.
·
The post holder will need a Level 2 qualification in
English and Maths and have a basic knowledge of behaviour and learning
barriers.
