About this Role

Looking for an immediate start, fixed-term to 31 August 2027

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our caring, friendly and hard-working team. In addition to having a good understanding of how to build strong relationships with adults and children, we are looking for someone who can use their initiative. The post may involve working with children to support one-to-one and lead small group interventions.

We are ideally looking to offer the position, which includes both roles, pay is reflected below:

The LSA post offers additional hours working in our breakfast club, Monday to Friday, working pattern 7.30 am - 3.15 pm (half - hour lunch break), 36.25 hours £22097.80

The LSA post, 30 hours, Monday to Friday, working at a pattern 8.45 - 3.15 (half-hour lunch break) £18287.24

The successful candidate will need to:

  • Hold a relevant qualification at NVQ Level 2 or above (desirable)

  • Have some experience working with children with a range of special educational needs

  • Have a caring nature 

  • Be able to communicate effectively with children and adults 

  • Be able to work as part of a team
