About this Role

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our caring, friendly and hard-working team, to work on a one to one basis with a child. As well as having a strong understanding of building strong relationships with adults and children, we are also looking for someone who can use their initiative. The post may involve working with children to support one to one and lead small group interventions.

Working Pattern: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 08:45 - 15:15 and Tuesday 08:15 - 15:15

The successful candidate will need to:

  • hold a relevant qualification at NVQ Level 2 or above

  • Have some experience of working with children with a range of special educational needs

  • Have a caring nature 

  • Be able to communicate effectively with children and adults 

  • Be able to work as part of a team
