About this Role

Roman Hill Primary School is on a journey of rapid improvement and we are looking for a passionate and dynamic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning and promote the wider development of pupils at our school.  The hours of work in this role are 27.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time plus one week) 

Our school is on a journey of rapid improvement and offers a supportive leadership team, excellent CPD and a welcoming team of colleagues. 

The successful candidate will:

  • Be a positive role model for pupils 
  • Be patient, dedicated and passionate about working with children.  
  • have knowledge or experience of a trauma-informed approach to supporting children  
  • Be confident in planning and preparing lessons under the direction of the class teacher.
