· 3.75 hours per week
· Term time only
· Salary – MRS Scale A Point 3 actual
salary £2,097 (Full time annual salary £24,796)
· Both roles are permanent
· Start date September 2026

Unity Education Trust are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant and Midday
Supervisory Assistant to join our education team at Magdalen Academy.
We are looking for versatile, resilient and committed Teaching Assistant
with experience and skills supporting children in the KS2 classes. The
successful candidate will work alongside the class teacher and other teaching
assistants, assisting the children in their work and play, supporting with
pupil behaviour and establishing good relationships with pupils, acting as a
role model and responding to individual needs. This role also includes 45 mins
each day as a Midday Supervisory Assistant. Midday supervisors support the
children by serving their lunches, supervising play inside or outside and
clearing away food safely.
Please note that the role does involve some regular physical activity
e.g. supporting intimate care, interacting with students through play on the
floor and responding promptly to escalated situations. This does not remove our
obligation to make adjustments where appropriate.
