About this Role

We are seeking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Site Assistant to join our committed and professional site team. 

The successful candidate will need to provide an outstanding service and maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times. You will also have an awareness of health and safety responsibilities and an eagerness to gain experience and to participate in staff training as and when required.

About you:

As our Site Assistant you would be responsible for providing efficient and effective caretaking support to the Academy including ensuring the security and general appearance of the buildings and surrounding areas are maintained in accordance with the required standards and in accordance with the practices and procedures of the Academy and Ormiston Academies Trust

Key elements of the role are:

  • working as part of a team to help to keep the Academy clean, tidy, safe and secure 
  • Carry out basic handypersons tasks
  • Act as a key holder
  • Carry out porterage duties
