Heworth Grange School is seeking an exceptional Attendance Manager to
lead our attendance strategy and drive improvements across the academy. This is

About the Role
As Attendance Manager, you will take strategic responsibility for
attendance across the school, leading on attendance improvement initiatives and
supporting students and families to overcome barriers to learning.

What We're Looking For
We are looking for an individual who has:
✔ Significant experience within education, pastoral
support or a related field
✔ Experience working with pupils, parents/carers and
external agencies
✔ Strong knowledge of attendance legislation,
safeguarding and pupil welfare
✔ Experience managing sensitive and complex cases
✔ The ability to analyse data and use it to drive
improvement
✔ Excellent communication and relationship-building
skills
✔ Resilience, empathy and a solution-focused approach
✔ A commitment to ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive
