About this Role

About the Role

King’s Academy College Park is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS Teacher to join our supportive and collaborative team on a maternity cover basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a nurturing and values-led school, delivering an ambitious early years curriculum that inspires curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning.

In this role, you will create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment where all children feel safe, supported, and able to thrive. You will have high expectations for every pupil, using effective teaching and provision to remove barriers to learning and ensure all children make strong progress both academically and personally.

You will play an important role in embedding the school’s core values across daily practice, while working closely with colleagues and leaders who are committed to continuous improvement. As part of King’s Group Academies, you will also benefit from a strong network of professional support and high-quality development opportunities.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about early years education, brings energy and creativity to their teaching, and is committed to making a positive difference to the lives of young children.

King’s Academy College Park is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All staff and volunteers are expected to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS check and relevant pre-employment checks will be required prior to appointment.

Visits to the school are warmly encouraged. To arrange a visit or for an informal conversation about the role, please contact Mrs K Green at: recruitment@kingsacademies.uk.

Closing date: Midday, Wednesday 13 May 2026
Interviews: Week commencing Monday 18 May 2026
