About this Role

Class Teacher - Grange School

MPS1 – MPS4

one year fixed term contract

Central Co-operative Learning Trust are seeking to appoint a class teacher at Grange School from September 2026; this will initially be on a fixed term contract for one year.

Grange School is an ethnically diverse and culturally rich infant school, with an attached nursery, situated in the middle of Burton-upon-Trent. We have high expectations of everybody in our school and our inclusive environment aims to inspire curiosity, creativity and a lifelong love of learning in each individual.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, inspiring and nurturing Class Teacher to join our friendly team from September. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who is passionate about early education and committed to giving young children the very best start.

We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and ECTs who are eager to grow and thrive in a supportive school community. If you are dedicated, reflective, and excited about helping children flourish, we would love to hear from you.

We can offer a welcoming team, a warm and nurturing work environment and development opportunities to support your own professional growth.

In addition to fulfilling the Person Specification, the successful candidate will:

  • be an ambitious and highly skilled classroom practitioner;

  • support our belief that every child has the right to the best possible learning experience;

  • be committed to providing pupils with knowledge, skills and understanding through exciting and engaging learning experiences;

  • have high aspirations for every child in our school, and strive to ensure that every child receives the very best opportunities to excel and enjoy;

  • be committed to their own professional learning;

  • be able to contribute to and support a wider curriculum offer that allows children to discover their passions and pursue their curiosity.

    Visits to the school are strongly encouraged:

      Thursday4th June at 9.00am

      Friday 5th June at 3.45pm

      To arrangement an appointment for a visit please contact Miss Smith by email office@grangeschool.academy or by telephone 01283 564325.
