The successful candidate will need to be enthusiastic, resilient and dedicated to making a difference to children's learning. You will need to enjoy working with children and be passionate and committed to helping children develop as independent and confident individuals. This role will help support pupils to access all aspects of learning and self-help skills. You will work closely with class teachers and phase leaders.
You MUST hold an NVQ Level 3 in the Early Years or Education and a GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths (C or above) with a high standard of written and spoken English. First Aid qualifications would be desirable.
This temporary position for two years (although this may be reviewed) and will be for a total of 12.5 hours per week (08:30 - 15:15 with a 30 minute break). You would be expected to attend all INSET days but this is subject to negotiation.

There will also be an observation element to the selection day and a task.
