Dartmoor Multi Academy Trust are seeking to appoint committed and enthusiastic Exam Invigilators to join our friendly, dedicated Exams Team. This role will allow you to work flexibly on a casual basis during the school’s exam periods.

Summary of Role:
The invigilator is the person in the examination room responsible for conducting a particular examination session in the presence of the candidates. Invigilators have a key role in upholding the integrity of the external examination/assessment process.
The role of the invigilator is to ensure that the examination is conducted according to these instructions in order to:
a)
ensure all candidates have an equal opportunity to demonstrate their
abilities;
b)
ensure the security of the examination before, during and after the
examination;
c)
prevent possible candidate malpractice;
d)
prevent possible administrative failures.” [JCQ ICE 2025/2026, section 12]
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
To conduct examinations in accordance with the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ), awarding body and Holsworthy Community College instructions.
To play a key role in upholding the integrity of the examination/assessment process:
