Salary : Bucks Pay Range 2 (Actual salary £19,684 - £21,332 per annum)

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our committed team of Teaching Assistants, supporting our young people to achieve their full potential. You will become part of our specialist SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) team, working collaboratively to provide tailored support that meets the individual needs of each student.
Students with SEND are at the heart of our academy, and this role is pivotal in ensuring that some of our most vulnerable learners are fully supported to thrive and succeed. Support may be delivered within lessons or through targeted 1:1 interventions focused on specific areas of need.
Experience of working with young people and having the following skills will be beneficial:
A passion for the importance of learning
Enthusiasm for working with young people to help them succeed, especially those students with SEND needs
The ability to inspire students
GCSE (or equivalent) English and Maths
Further education relating to learning & development needs for SEND students
Your responsibilities will include:
Working collaboratively with subject teachers to ensure students’ progress in individual subjects
Acting as a positive role model both socially and academically
Helping to foster and develop positive relationships with staff and peers
Being flexible to meet the dynamic needs of the SEND department on a daily basis
Identifying personal training needs and attending appropriate internal and external training
Being involved in maintaining records, undertaking assessment and evaluating identified students’ needs
Ensuring inclusive practice and equality of opportunity for all
