About this Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Class Teacher in the Horizons Centre SEMH Resourced Provision at Holybrook Primary School.

We opened our Resourced Provision in September 2020.  It is a new provision which replaces our behaviour centre, as the district’s needs have changed, to meet the needs of this growing population within the city of Bradford.  We are looking for an experienced Class Teacher who is passionate about educating children with SEMH needs.

Experience, knowledge and/or a passion for teaching pupils with SEMH needs would be an advantage.  You will be joining an experienced team who have a wealth of knowledge and experience in supporting our children’s needs.

If you'd like to know more about our school, please visit our website at www.holybrookacademy.co.uk

We are interested in hearing from people who:

  • Are inspirational and passionate teachers with a track record, or ambition, of raising standards across the primary phase
  • Are creative, imaginative, committed and passionate about learning and ensuring high quality SEND provision for all
  • Can work well as part of a team
  • Have a strong commitment to working with children, to ensure they thrive
  • Have a detailed understanding of, combined with previous experience of, effective positive behaviour management techniques
  • Are able to work in partnership with parents/carers to build positive home school links

We can offer:

  • Children who are enthusiastic to learn
  • A supportive Trust central team, school leadership, governors, staff and parents
  • Fantastic outdoor facilities
  • Opportunities for further development and training
  • A healthy work-life balance
  • Free access to an Employee Assistance Programme
  • Free, on-site parking
  • Excellent employer pension contribution scheme

We would warmly encourage any interested candidates to visit our school setting.  In order to do so, please contact Amy Nelson, Office Manager on 01274 611327 to make the necessary arrangements.
