About the role:
Are you passionate about early years education and supporting children’s development? Join our friendly and inclusive team at Soke Education Trust as a Childcare Practitioner. You’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and education for children in our setting. This is a varied role, covering the EYFS curriculum, acting as a key person for a small group of children, and supervising breakfast club sessions. You’ll help create a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment where every child can thrive.
Within this role you will work 28.75 hours per week, Monday to Friday 07:15 to 13:00 term time only, 38 weeks per academic year
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
As our new Early Years & Childcare Practitioner, you will be:
● Planning and delivering EYFS curriculum activities
● Supporting children’s learning and conducting regular observations and assessments
● Acting as a key person to nominated children, tracking progress and building strong relationships with families
● Supervising children during breakfast clubs, including providing homework support and leading engaging activities
● Ensuring all safeguarding, health & safety, and dietary requirements are met
