About this Role

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated individual to join our team as a part time, term time cleaner at Dovers Green Infant School. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment or students, staff and visitors.

This is a part time fixed term role working Monday to Friday from 5pm to 7pm, 38 weeks per annum (term time only).  The pro rata annual salary is £5,430 (£23,322 FTE).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Clean classrooms, hallways and other areas within the unit
  • Empty bins and dispose of waste
  • Sweep, mop and vacuum floors
  • Follow Health and Safety guidelines including COSHH regulations

We are looking for individuals who:

  • Have previous cleaning experience, preferably in a school of similar environment (desirable but not essential)
  • Have the ability to manage time effectively to complete tasks to a high level
  • Are able to work independently and as part of a team
  • A positive can-do attitude
