An exciting opportunity has arisen for a casual Lead Exam Invigilator at Appleton Academy.

    The successful candidate will oversee the smooth running of examinations, ensuring all exams are conducted fairly and in line with regulations.  As Lead Exam Invigilator, you will supervise a team of invigilators, prepare examination environments, and act as the main point of contact during exam sessions.  You will also supervise students during examinations, ensure all procedures are followed, and maintain the integrity and security of the examination process at all times, creating a calm, organised, and supportive environment that enables students to perform at their best.

    The successful applicant will ideally be available to work during peak examination periods, including November, January, March, May, and June.

    The successful candidate will:

    • Be confident in leading and supervising a team of invigilators
    • Excellent English language, reading, writing and comprehension skills
    • Good numeracy skills
    • Flexibility around working hours
    • Good time management and organisational skills
