About this Role

Liverpool Diocesan Schools Trust and the governors of St James CE Primary School wish to appoint a Teaching Assistant Level 2 or Level or Level 3 depending on the successful applicant’s skills and experience. 

Teaching Assistant Level 2 or Level 3 (working in SEND provision)

St James CE Primary School, Tyrer Avenue WN3 5XE.

Contract Type: Fixed term

Working Pattern: 33 hours per week – Term time only

Pay range: Level 2 SCP 5 £25,584.00 (FTE) or Level 3 SCP 8 £26,824 Actual Salary: Level 2 £ 19,128.52 or Level 3 £20,698 (Pro Rata Salary)

Able to demonstrate experience of small group work and articulate the benefits provided by these interventions and will have experience of managing children’s behaviour and demonstrating positive behaviours. You should have experience working with additional and complex needs children and have a flexible ‘can do’ attitude and contribute to the wider life of the school.
